Chicago is a great city but their parking fines are terrible. They definitely rely on this enforcement to balance their budget.

This also applies to Arizona. Not that surprising since culturally Phoenix is just an extension of SoCal.
I thought most top-fuel engines used superchargers...
At the height of the F1 Turbo era, BMW’s 1.5L Turbo was making around 1200 bhp on 80 psi of boost. That was in qualifying tune for Benneton in 1986.
This is interesting because I’m currently shopping Tahoe vs Odyssey (and competitors) for our next 3-row family car.
I passed the pressure test, and am waiting for parts to come in. I feel good still driving it since I haven’t had any symptoms.
Had to scroll down way too far to find this... one of my favorite car designs ever.
I think we need a new daily activity. In addition to COTD, $kay will post a pretty girl with an unknown car and first to identify it wins.
I used to really enjoy watching the IMSA GT class, but looking closer at the BOP over the last few seasons has diminished the fun.
Yeah, but it costs less to make black plastic than painted plastic. I’m starting to wonder if that has something to do with all the fake vents.
I wonder if they could have swappable battery packs? Charge one while the car is out running with the other? There don’t seem to be many rules for the Garage 56 entry.
Maybe I’m old fashioned but I think they should save ST and RS badges for cars. Despite what Ford may say, nobody is going to track these. I doubt they will offer an “octane academy” track experience like they did with the Focus ST.
Those look great with black wheels.
Exactly. Notice that Raphael had his FWD epiphany while driving a specially prepped rally car at a $1000/day Rally school.
Most modern FWD cars that should be fun have electronics that prevent left-foot-braking. This makes them very un-fun.
Can you narrow it down a bit?
I finally tested them in snow this morning and am happy with the level of grip. They are also reasonably grippy and responsive in the dry. I was surprised that they seem a bit louder and have a harsher ride compared to my Michelin PSS summers, but overall I’m happy with the purchase. At that price I can shred some…
I recently shopped for “winter tires” and ended up choosing General Altimax RT43 all-season. According to TireRack performance tests (which were admittedly on different days, but on the same track in similar conditions) the Altimax were actually significantly better in the snow, albeit worse on ice compared to my…
I live 20 min from the ski area and on good powder days, they require either AWD or chains in order to go up the road. You can have snow tires on a FWD car and they will make you put chains on.
