Why would I rather have a 3-row AWD minivan? Or wagon (duh...)
And besides, it was supposed to be tricky and not that fun to drive. If there ever was a car that was okay to never drive, this is it.
Definitely one of the prettiest and most dramatic cars ever, but you have to look at it through your early 90s glasses to appreciate it. If you try comparing it to modern cars (or even the McLaren F1) it looks fat and droopy, like the plastic body has started to melt. The overhangs are enormous, but they help to…
If Ford takes care of the head gasket issue then it might be. It only had a 2.5 year production run compared to the decades of STIs and Golf Rs.
Good to see so many wagons out there piling on the oppo
Wouldn’t be the first time they tried subliminal messaging:
This car still looks good, but I wouldn’t say it looks new. It is very dated. I would put the XJ220 in the same category. Beautiful car, but it is the epitome of early 90s design...
Maybe you guys should tone it down a little... Yelling
I really hope you’re right. But I fear this has more to do with the company’s new “focus on crossovers, trucks, and electrification” as their new CEO recently said. Notice he didn’t mention anything about performance cars or racing...
I have a 2009 Fit 5-speed MT and recently added a Focus RS. Honestly the Fit is more fun for running errands around town. The weight is a huge factor (1000 lbs less than the Focus) and I like that I can go full throttle anywhere without rear-ending somebody. It’s also a blast on a canyon road.
Easily. My wife and I took our kid in a child seat on a 2-week road trip with all the luggage that entails.
I’ll agree that Phoenix sucks. Especially in the summer, but it isn’t that great at any time. I live up in Flag, and the weather is great. It has never gotten over 100 in recorded history. We get 2 ft of snow at a time in winter, ski for a few days, then the sun comes out and it melts in a week.

Re: ShadowPryde
Looks cleaner (and subsequently better) than the Stinger GT.
