IDK why people don’t use it against him more. For example, every time he says “China virus” play dumb and ask him what he’s talking about, until he uses the proper name. Can you imagine the aneurysm if all his mentions were flooded with randos being like “What is the China virus? Not familiar”

What’s happening is that people who are used to getting their way are finally getting called out on their BS and handling it like a toddler who’s just been told they can’t have ice cream for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

No, this lack of decency has been here a long, long time before the Liar-in-Chief got elected. It’s just no longer avoidable to see all these people being evil in public.

I like to make an actionable suggestion.  “Have you thought of trying...”  Focusing on the actions and/or the outcome makes it feel less personal

At to Trump’s motive, it’s almost certainly the former (though I’m sure the thought of beating up protesters also appeals to his Cro-Magnon instincts).
