Of course they made it believable. However, making women in movies to be about their children has been around since forever. Why did they have to go that way at all? It is especially jarring comparing to the fabulous arch that Spiderman got. But women get yet another movie where a woman is child centric. I want movies

You know, that art is subjective, right? Also, why am I not surprised that a man sees things from a different perspective? Bottomline is, out of everything Wanda could have aspired to, they went with children. And even that would have been ok, if they at least tried showing other parts of her. But no. Yes, it feels

The movie treated female characters atrociously. To see Peggy and Captain Marvel to die within three minutes was fucking ridiculous. Treatment of America was not better at all. And Wanda. In this day and age to build a story about the most powerful woman in the universe in the context that the only thing she wants is

Why not to bring an older woman? If not Emma Thompson, then perhaps Maggie Smith?

Stevie Nicks. She does bear resemblance and is the right age.

Yes, that would be fantastic, wouldn’t it? But would Fox permit it? That is the question...

In the light of the recent revelation by Samantha Bee, that abortion was picked by political consultants as a unifying issue to make evangelicals vote Republican, I am fuming out of my ears at news like that . This vile hateful ignorant bigot, Nikki Hayley, I wish an ectopic pregnancy on you and eclampsia on your

Now that Nathan Fillion is free, can we have him as a Star Trek Capt’n? I would expect a Firefly joke now and then.

It is grand, but she managed to bury her space legacy under truly hideous deeds while serving as a member of the Russian Parliament. She visited a women’s penal colony and noted that they were dressed too well. It is worth noting that life in Russian prisons is very harsh, it is purely a punishment. As a consequence

Unfortunately her current “accomplishments” are of nefarious sort. As a member of Russian Parliament (Duma) she visited a women’s penal colony and noted that they were dressed too well. It is worth noting that life in Russian prisons is very harsh, it is purely a punishment. As a consequence of her remarks, living

Lois Lane was not interviewing anybody in Nairobi. She was in Nairomi, a fictional African or Middle Eastern place in some desert.

While I understand plight of Native Americans, it does not help their plight vilifying everything that dares to mention them. Or in this case a work of complete fiction. Somehow calling scientology and anti-vaxxers cults is not a problem, but saying something, basically, anything about Native Indians and their beliefs

Obviously.

Now playing

Firefly has THE best opening credits, obviously. ))) Besides that, I always loved the Star Trek Enterprise opening, it is such a testament to the human desire to fly and to explore. Also, Elementary has a pretty cool sequence, very fitting for a procedural.

It is difficult to elaborate, it touched something, it really hurts that we did not get to see more.

I thought it was very uncool to end the second episode in a row on THE SAME freaking cliffhanger. The one where Simmons wants to go back to the place where she was stranded. Sure, it was worded slightly differently, but essentially, it was the same cliffhanger. Good screenwriters just don’t do that to fans.

I think, given proper season length, Killjoys could be epic.

Good riddance, never liked him, he made Bond completely joyless and no more gritty or realistic, despite multiple claims. Also, while I understand a concept of giving no fucks, I can not imagine any of the previous Bond actors talking like that. It is called manners and Craig does not have them. Now, who do I bribe to

As much as I despise the idea that in 2015 there is no female late night show host, the current crop of hosts is fantastic, very smart and funny. Pity that women comedians do not even get a kind of exposure to get a shot at such a job. But it will change soon, we have admitted the problem, we are not in denial, right?

So did I and I have not heard it. )))
