People like you are a perfect example of why we can't all be expected to live together in peace. Such hostility. Did your mother beat you as a child? You needn't be angry anymore—let it go.
People like you are the reason that others think all atheists are douchebags. Thanks.
Trick question; they incinerate their own poop!
I really wanted a 9-3 Aero Sportcombi, but I just ended up with a 9-3 Aero. Loving every minute of it!
So they let just ANYONE write articles for Jalopnik now? Cool. I'll let my 18-month old daughter know. She can start writing articles (of equal quality, I might add) and earn some cash in the process.
KCSR or GTFO. :D
Actually, a tune, injectors, turbo with a 19t comp. wheel, 3" exhaust, intercooler and intake are all I need. The tune is a given if you increase injector size—I figured that was obvious. As for whether the trans can handle it, here's someone with the same car who also has an auto trans:
Much like there's no excuse for it, there's no explaining it either. :P
Nobody said that this car only had cranked boost. In fact, as you pointed out, there is no existing mod list. I can crank the power output of my Saab from 255/260 to 415/520 by adding boost, fuel, 3" turbo-back, and 58 lb injectors. That's a 61% increase! Surely a $1,300,000 car can match that.
Very true. I'm sure the W16 is overengineered to the point that it can take 1500 HP with ease. That's only half it's rated output, afterall. Honda K20s can regularly be pushed from 200 HP NA to over 450 HP FI without having to touch the internals. I completely understand what you're saying, and agree that a thorough…
What it means: An aftermarket kit that can enlarge your cylinders.
Yes, more complicated in the same manner that a V8 is more complicated than an i4. So, in comparison to a Murcilago, the Veyron has a larger block, more rods, longer crank, a few more pistons, the same number of camshafts (albeit longer and with a few more lobes), and as you pointed out, launch control. So very…
Your reading comprehension blows.
If you can afford a $1,200,000 car, you can afford to modify it.
Why so skeptical? These days, there are numerous 1500 hp street cars. Take a car that already makes 1000 HP and modify it, what happens? 1500 with ease. I call this completely plausible.
Hey, I said oops, right?
It's times like these that I fantasize about running said cop over and saying "oops."
I concur. I had two of them, and they're quite tossable.
