Like it or not, Gibson actually seems to be talented. There are some movies I haven’t seen for person conviction reasons, but the others are well made. Wu needs to be as good as her ego; Tom Cruise is. She’s decent in CRA, and a horrible character in FOtB. She hasn’t earned her diva.

I thought he did great work adapting Fellowship, and got progressively worse at adaptation from there. Gondor was completely bungled. And since Gondor (and Denethor and Faramir) was my favorite part of the books, I was seriously disappointed.
