He was 16 and it was not just a funeral but the funeral of his sister Cecilie who had died along with her mother-in-law, her husband and her three children in a plane-crash. The cause of the crash was that Cecilie had gone into labor and given birth, the pilot tried an emergency landing in bad weather.

I’m sure his mother who has a place in Yad Vashem would not be impressed by this sweeping statement of Philip’s heritage. Philip himself fought against the Nazis.

Edward will be just fine. Apparently he’s Philip’s favorite (yep, I know that’s surprising) and one day he’ll be the Duke of Edinburgh. He’s doing lots of things but since he’s too far away from the crown and not flashy enough he rarely gets noticed. But he has developed various hilarious routines to unveil plaques -

Glad to see ‘Person of Interest’ making the cut - the show was never given its due respect. And happy to see ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ because ‘why the fuck not?’ is directive not enough shows have adopted.

I’m always amused when Mirren’s Russian ancestry is brought up for this part since Catherine was German *accepts nitpick of the day award and shows herself out*

Jeri Ryan also had lots of fun with the Seven of Nine costume. Breathing, bending, drinking - all optional!

I’ve read somewhere that she probably had the upper inner eyelid lifted - which is sometimes done for actual medical reasons when a heavy lid starts to mess with your vision. It produced a rather dramatic change but her face has settled back. If it was for said reason then she’s right to deny the plastic surgery

Ah, I stand corrected. Well that makes his extensive use of private flights even worse. He was criticized for that too when a list was published last IIRC. But then it’s Charles and he’s no longer number one on the DM’s list of favorite click-baits.

That’s still Granny’s train!

They sure have. The divide between North and South is a major problem for Italy. First time I became aware of the tension was when my brother dated a northern Italian girl and her father explained to us the best thing that could happen to Italy would be an earthquake that drowned everything south of Rome.

Given Fergie’s track record of not-so-great-ideas this is just a blip,

12 Monkeys got at least the chance to finish (don’t know about the others). Dark Matter ended on a massive cliff-hanger. But hey, that’s in the ‘best’ SyFy tradition - s. Farscape.

Yeah, you might want to repeat that in front of a bunch of Dark Matter fans.

I know not everybody agrees but I think Logan got one of the best redemption arcs I’ve ever seen. And Jason Dohring was doing overtime to make sure it worked.

Also that kiss scene where everything just works perfectly (acting, score, editing). It was damn perfect and I can’t remember another tv kiss that made me that happy.

You may wanna tell this to the Japanese. Also: Monarchies can be elective too (Poland or Bohemia for example we elective monarchies). According to some medievalists most Western European monarchies started that way but if you have various noble families always at each other’s throat when the king dies the idea of

I loved the quirky score - especially the awesome foreign language cover songs. Another show that was fun to watch. Of course it had to die!

Thank you!
