I mean, this really depends on the size of the hail. Once the hail starts busting windshields, I have a hard time believing this isn’t the safest spot.

Nothing in those photos show an accident.  Yes, the cars are crowded in at funny angles to get under the bridge, and yes, this is dangerous for all travelers behind them, but nothing shows an accident.  

For what it’s worth, these jackasses don’t appear to have pulled over, as it looks like they are actually stopped in the middle of the fucking highway....

Did I miss the part about why it’s unsafe to pull off the road under an overpass? Or are we just stating the obvious that you shouldn’t block the freeway?

Reading all the Twitter coments... that traffic jam is the least of the cities problem. I actually can not make out any accidents in those pictures. Closely parked yes but no real signs of a crash that I can determine for sure. Then again golf ball sized hail while driving on the highway is going to end up all blocked…
