she had the nanny lie to the court and say he threatened to kill kelly. which wasnt true. their whole custody agreement is online and it’s very revealing and there are basically no stories of him being an asshole. if anything, she comes off as very manipulative and emotionally abusive

everybody has answered your question about the logistics of how they ended up in monaco with him... but my opinion while reading this is that most of what daniel has done was to be able to see his kids. most of what kelly has done was to spite daniel.

Not really, he got to take them to Monaco because she got his visa (or whatever mechanism he was using to enter the US) denied making it impossible for him to visit them in the US. Since they were both of means, his country was now the only option. She kind of shot herself in the foot.

Because Kelly lied to get his visa revoked, thinking he would just disappear and she could keep the kids.

If you read the court documents it’s pretty apparent Rutherford is the cause of all her own problems.

The court continued, saying both “accommodated each other even before the visa issues arose,” and “behaved in the courtroom with decorum.”

Kelly created the entire mess when she lied to deport her ex. She seems nuts and acts like Monaco and France are some dangerous developing countries that are keeping her American citizen children away from her when she can go there as much as she wants.

Thank you for posting this............I was ignorant on the facts, and having read the over 39 pages understand how she fucked up. I’m going thru custody now, but she went to a low, low bar of reporting him to immigration and NOT putting his name on daughters birth certificate. You can’t fuck up your children then…

Rutherford Custody Case Court Ruling


I get that people want to feel sorry for her, given her campaign to make it appear as though her kids have been kidnapped and she is being denied visitation, but please read the court ruling made in 2012 where the judge makes it clear that everything that has happened was HER FAULT…

This. First she gets him deported, which then backfires on her, and now she’s using nationalistic appeal and xenophobia to get her way. The dad meanwhile, does not seem to have said anything negative about her so far.

Her situation would be much different if she had not been involved in having him kicked out of the country—this would have been decided in the US. The victims here are the kids who are the rope in this tug of war.

I hope the ex will contribute some of the cost for the trips, but after having to sit through Rutherford’s very xenophobic, celebrity campaign and accusations that he straight up kidnapped the kids, I could see how he wouldn’t.
