I think what we should take away from this is assume that all costume wearers at conventions are potentially someone awesome, which is usually the truth even if they’re not celebrities.

Looks nice but it’s still no real gameplay. Also according to PC Gamer there’s no space combat which fucking sucks.

OMG you're right. He's a seriously solid dude. We need to set this up somehow.

You know what? Keanu Reeves.

However, this fanservice female character, most likely designed by males, is not ok for some reason?

Me too, girl, Me too. Both on the 42" hips and the yoga pants. But, just to share, got a really positive compliment on my big ol' hips yesterday. My bellydance instructor looked at me butchering a move and said, "you do your best. Also, you already have perfect bellydancing hips. What do you need classes for,

I'm a diversity educator/dean at an independent school and while I was in a meeting with other upper level administrators, I was pointing out some harmful sexist/binary/heteronormative policies that are in place at the school. This was a discussion where my voice never once raised in volume. I kept an even-tempered

Ooh, that's a tough one to recommend. While the game has a great story, it has aged very poorly. Not just the graphics, but a high random encounter rate, long dungeons that don't advance the plot at all, and a run time of 80ish hours. Just be warned: It's a great game, but it's not a good game.

I think that players in general are assets to multiplayer-heavy games such as team-based shooters. One of the worst things to happen is finding servers that are empty. To maximise the number of players means to maximise the amount of fun, a subscription models seems to be a poor match for such games, especially so

What memories do I have? There was picking up the game at Toys'R'Us. I got one of the last copies. Gently opening up the game box, and gently pushing the cartridge into the SNES. Seeing the Squaresoft logo, which let you know that you were about to go on an amazing adventure. The tick-tock, tick-tock at the beginning.

Trying to beat Lavos day after day for at least a week. Finally, one morning, I woke up super early — like 5 am — and trundled down into the living room. I remember a made myself a giant bowl of fruit loops or something, shuffled around my team, and went for it. Did well in the first form, the final form was going

I really loved the trial and the way all your actions up to then at the fair were used for or against you. I thought it was great and really clever, and was the first thing I'd seen of actions having unexpected consequences in what was up til then a largely linear genre... console JRPGs that is. I also loved the way

If you despised SimCity for its tiny scale, this is not a tiny game. Skylines begins small, but as your city grows, you're able to unlock more and more of the surrounding countryside. It gets to the point where you can start building satellite communities just for the hell of it, because your primary city is so damn

That's not a flaw, that's a feature.

That's exactly what it looks like. Those "tiny towns" you see with model railways, etc.

If you pretend the "Fairy Dance" arc doesn't exists and downplay "Phantom Bullet"...

This list is missing Balsa!!!!
