To the filthy and now anonymous troll I just flagged and dismissed, don’t try to understand me or people like me. It is beyond your reptilian comprehension. You do not have the intelligence, empathy or even practical sense for that.

Not overtly racist and cruel enough.

The racism part is huge. Evangelicals can be nice in person but institutionally are racist as hell. Somehow they’re able to disconnect the two in their brain. It’s weird.

Ya know, I was kinda wondering if someone would defend this garbage of a response.

I am so sick of the entire fate of democracy being pinned on our backs, the backs of people who have received the least democracy. It is gaslighting, it is racist, and I am over it. Every time I hear a white pundit say “the black vote”, which is hourly these days, I fly into a brief rage (my thought bubble screams

Indigenous people in the north interior live on the land in a way that means the pipeline route is not “empty”, but the site of crucial cultural and economic activity. Plus the Crown does not have a right to this land. Look up the Delgamuukw court decision.

Can we please not take a single tribe’s stance on the project only because they are the vocal minority?

Orwell himself was a socialist, so yeah - no.

“And taking plot lines and events from previous films and making them meaningless”

Which is not what what TLJ did and I am baffled that people somehow got that from the movie.

I don’t think I’ll ever get the hate TLJ still gets, I thought it was among many things, the best produced, directed and well acted movie of ANY Star Wars movie. But it was also arguably one of the deepest in terms of message and story, and I get that people mostly seem frustrated that it didn’t continue some of the

The discourse surrounding these movies is the worst thing about them. It transformed The Last Jedi from I movie I enjoyed into a movie I’ve had to defend, which is both ridiculous and exhausting. In their efforts to “protect” Star Wars from whatever forces they think they’re protecting it from, a faction of SW fandom

Capitalists see themselves as John Galt-like big-brain super-geniuses but they’re mediocrities whose only discernible talent is inheriting capital. They don’t want to invent anything or do any actual work, they just want a high rate of return on their inheritance. Then when the government says “wait aren’t you robbing

You are a dimwit. That is why you cant understand why everyone who happens to pass by your house doesn’t want to be recorded on your spycam and have their image shared on a social media site without their consent.

Thank you for posting these, but a lot of the time they go ignored by the same racist who demanded them. It is part of the white supremacist handbook where they attempt to muddy the waters, claim that the facts are made up, and put the onus on the victims of their idiocy to stop the lie that has already reached

I think this show is going to be most Americans intro to the Tulsa Massacre. I was shocked when they started with it and how well it was done. It was sickening, embarrassing (as a translucent American), and utterly gripping. I went back and watched it again to soak up the details.

Stunning piece of television. The Tulsa Massacre sequence was tense, gripping and nauseating all at the same time - I hope ignorant white Americans understand that it actually happened. Dramatically, it whipped me up for killing the white supremacists so that I now have whiplash from the ending and cannot wait to see

I hope people were shocked enough by the opener to go do some research on it. I grew up 30 miles from where this happened and only learned about it 5 years ago.

Do you think he used to trash talk when he’d win at it?

This is the cringiest thing I have read in the comments, I think I need a shower to wash off the stench of bigoted bullshit that is waffling off of this.

All of the people saying that the competition needs to just “make better movies” just feeds into the false narrative that capitalism is somehow a meritocracy that rewards only the best, and ignores or excuses Disney’s blatant monopolistic practices that are specifically designed to eliminate competition, not through
