Me too, girl, Me too. Both on the 42" hips and the yoga pants. But, just to share, got a really positive compliment on my big ol' hips yesterday. My bellydance instructor looked at me butchering a move and said, "you do your best. Also, you already have perfect bellydancing hips. What do you need classes for,

So it's like if Veronica Mars were a zombie, and a little bit the star of Tru Calling? I can't be the only person that misses that show.

I believe I shall dust off one of my favorite Rogue Squadron quotes . . . (you're really too good to me, Whitbrook)

I'm one of those people who voted for The Matrix, because

I'm honestly surprised Babylon 5 has almost half the votes. When Star Trek: The Next Generation lost to Doctor Who a few years back I knew I was old and what mattered to me doesn't matter as much to the up and coming generations; Avatar definitely means more to these kids than us fogeys and our deep and abiding love

Everyone seems to be using a different standard when they vote every year. Some vote for the work they think is the most important or influential, and others just vote for the one they like best, or because they hate whatever it's up against.

I had to abstain from voting between Star Wars and Dune. I just couldn't decide. I love them equally!

I'm a diversity educator/dean at an independent school and while I was in a meeting with other upper level administrators, I was pointing out some harmful sexist/binary/heteronormative policies that are in place at the school. This was a discussion where my voice never once raised in volume. I kept an even-tempered

It's like the Nikita Family Reunion on 12 Monkeys... ;)

Person of Interest seems to be systematically and carefully choosing every female actor I have a total crush on as a recurring cast member. First it's Amy Acker, then it's Sarah Shahi, now it's Katheryn Winnick. Oh let's not forget Carrie Preston, either! Good god people, if you can just get Claire Danes, Christina

First of all, how dare you.

You can come sit with me in the 'but... but... Highlander!' corner.

2) Greyjoy Family Matters

Ooh, that's a tough one to recommend. While the game has a great story, it has aged very poorly. Not just the graphics, but a high random encounter rate, long dungeons that don't advance the plot at all, and a run time of 80ish hours. Just be warned: It's a great game, but it's not a good game.

I've been drinking a lot of that, and the numbness never goes away.

Have you tried Chartreuse? Just asking as thujone appears in both elixirs. I love Chartreuse just a tiny bit more than Absinthe but that may be my laziness showing.

I think that players in general are assets to multiplayer-heavy games such as team-based shooters. One of the worst things to happen is finding servers that are empty. To maximise the number of players means to maximise the amount of fun, a subscription models seems to be a poor match for such games, especially so

How do you build a meritocracy without acknowledging and combating privilege? It can't be done.
