I find it enraging that this is one of the only places that will call out a person with such ties in the HEADLINE.

The historical accuracy thing burns me up. Because even the context of non-fiction things have been so sanitized and whitewashed kids today grow up not know how diverse the past was.

I’d recommend getting a sensitivity reader to give it a pass through if you are really worried.

This bums me out about a lot of modern fiction. Its usually so stale and basically the segregated 1980s suburb they grew up in, instead of the magnificently diverse future we appear to be headed to.
