That “shall we say” is absolutely the “shall we say” of a man who hopes people will interpret it to mean “I totally nailed her.” It is also, in all likelihood, the “shall we say” of a man who knows he cannot actually say “I totally nailed her” without being sued for libel because he absolutely did not nail her.

So I was supposed to go to the Rifftrax Holiday broadcast today. But the theater I always go to was, with no explanation, not showing it. So I took the day off work and was denied even the tiniest scrap of comfort or joy, in a personal teeth kick from 2016.

I think the thing that scares me the most about what’s been happening lately is how absolutely powerless the truth is against somebody who is fine with completely fabricating crimes…

You know how scary this shit is? A while back in class we had to do an argumentative essay and every topic had two students assigned for each side of the debate. Climate change was one of the topics available (no repeats were available so only two students could do this topic) and literally nobody wanted to volunteer…

Democrats consistently compromise. Republicans consistently do not. And look where that got each party. Compromise with bad actors on bad policies is bad, not good. Compromise on abortion and capital punishment and healthcare and war and the economy, like Clinton promised, is bad, not good.
