But what is Ford doing with that awesome engine now?
But what is Ford doing with that awesome engine now?
I think you kinda answered yourself in your article. DTS isn’t for you, or anyone that watches F1 even semi-regularly. It’s more a gateway into the race series and behind the scenes to either main or interesting teams and drivers. Just about every storyline covered we already knew is we kept up from week to week., so… Read more
The R8 deserves possibly an honorable mention (though it wouldn’t fit in the categories you had). This was the car that made supercars (or junior supercars, depending on your stance) viable as a daily driver
I was JUST looking at some shoe boxes yesterday. I guess a qualify (though I’m still now buying Jordans. Yes, like many black parents mine were not about to spend $120+ on shoes, let alone shoes people were getting shot over. While I still carry that line of thinking that’s not what stops me from buying a pair. I was… Read more
Those wheels are absolutely beautiful
As a 2G Fusion owner, this does make me a little sad, as it’s a really nice sedan. Not quite at Mazda6 or Accord level, but nicer than a Camry or Altima. Sadly, that’s not enough for Ford to keep making them. From a shareholder perspective (which is all that matters these days), I get it. As a consumer, I don’t like… Read more
The wife and I watched Marley and Me when we went away one weekend. Worst idea ever
They all sound like angry vacuum cleaners, whether in an Altima, Infinity whatever, or a Z. Just a Hoover with an attitude
It’s not a curlicue. It’s a ‘Turbo 6' laid on it’s side. Every time I see a DB11 (and someone in my building owns one, so, daily) I think of my brother’s Grand National...
Would you take this over, say, a Aviator? I surely wouldn’t. Wonder what the public at large would do
This series of articles sounds awesome. Just as long as you keep up your Meh Car Monday, all will go well and mutiny will not ensue
Here’s what annoys me the most about the Aviator. It’s not the vehicle itself, which looks to be the bees knees. Rather, the chassis it’s built on. Able to handle rear, AWD or FWD applications? Imagine a Continental built on that? Or any number of sedans that could replace the Fusion, Taurus, or whatever name Lincoln… Read more
Viewtiful Joe Spidey is indeed the best Spidey
It’s definitely a livery vehicle. With the demise of the Town Car, the MKT became their only alternative (at least if the Navigator was too big/unwieldy). I see enough of them in the DC area used as either a car service or a limo. MOst of those in the service industry actually have a ‘Town Car’ badge along with the… Read more
Hmmmm.... Good one. My dad had a ‘72 Mustang, but that was the family car. As a child born in the 70's, it would be easy to pick a Dodge Charger or Pontiac Trans Am. But if I had to choose what did it for me, I’d probably go with the Lotus Esprit. The wedgy shape and that huge rear wing still does something to me
I dated one person that was horriblr about this. I usually tip 20% across the board because it's easy math (more if the food and or service was fire). She, on the other hand, would refuse to tip if even the slightest thing was off with her eating experience, real or imagined. She has actually taken money off the table… Read more
It’s a scientific fact cars run better after a wash and wax. No idea why, but a freshly clean car will happily purr along at least until the next fuel fill up.
RC-10L? That’s a deep cut.... Since you may be one of the few to understand this, as a long time nitro racer i’m impressed and hurt to see the way electric racing has pretty much taken over the R/C scene now. Lipo and brushless almost make nitro engines obsolete. But the sound of a car switching into 2nd gear and the… Read more
