Yep! I’m excited to have Patty Jenkins directing Wonder Woman 1984 (and potentially a third movie), but I would have loved to see her take on one of DC’s icons. Having her on a Superman or Justice League movie would make a big statement.

I know her character’s dead, but I’d love to see them incorporate a flashback so that Gal Gadot could get in on the fun. Loved her character!

Surprised not to see Joker mentioned. I’m very curious to see what that movie looks like.

Not featured here, but Young Justice tops the list for me. The first issue was fantastic yesterday! I found myself just smiling throughout!

Well, he certainly wasn’t brainwashed in the first film when he tried to kill his brother and sicked the Destroyer on a small town. This is an unnecessary retcon.

Totally agree on MI: Fallout, Incredibles 2, and Spider-Verse. All three were fantastic! I’d also add Creed 2. It found real depth in what on paper looked like kind of a silly idea. The Batman annual was really powerful. My own life was forever changed by “one call”, and this issue captured that moment perfectly. It wasn’t always easy for me to read, but it was very well done.
