This was a fantastic episode. Probably my favorite of The Return. Just so much happening across the board. The confrontation between BadCoop and Diane was chilling!

I liked Karate Kid, but for some reason I loved Karate Kid II. I think my young mind saw it as being a lot more deep than it really was!
Harsh! :-)
Great point.
Even his really great stuff like Superman For All Seasons and Long Halloween?
Technically, Pa had a heart attack. He wasn't actually killed by Brainiac.
Clay Mann drew the Batman/Gotham Girl scenes.
At least when Synch died, they got his name right (unlike poor Angelo). I'd love to see both characters back.
Yes, it was a good subplot. Would have liked to have seen Bunn be the one to resolve it. Not too late to add her to X-Men Blue of course.
Part 1 is great, but for me it can't beat Part 2. The soulfulness of that film is so great. I can watch the last third with Bill over and over. Great performances in that film.
I'm excited for Bishop's return in Astonishing. I love Brubaker, but what he and the other writers did to that character in Messiah Complex was the wrong call.
As well as Skin. I hate that the two of them died. Part of the appeal of Generation X was that it was a pretty light book. Sad that the team was hit with such tragedy.
That better not stick. Still pissed that Cullen Bunn didn't get the chance to resolve that plotline in Uncanny X-Men.
My one piece of advice for him: don't touch the Man of Steel and Wonder Woman themes. Those are perfect as is.
Yes, I've come to miss the Ol' Canucklehead as well :-) I'd also like the return of the real (re: adult) Cyclops as soon as possible!
I think the rivalry stuff does happen a little more from time to time with the comics. I remember Geoff Johns being pretty upset a few years back when Marvel offered retailers Deadpool variants if they defaced certain DC books (which honestly seemed pretty petty and stupid on Marvel's part).
Ha! Completely agree.
Does it ever! I miss that team so much. Some of my favorite characters who just aren't as fun when they're not all together. Hopeful that they're the big surprise Marvel is holding onto for Generations.
The DC/Marvel nonsense has always been way more about the fans than it has the studios, stars, etc. Many on the Marvel side seemed genuinely happy for Wonder Woman's success. IMO, better films from both puts more pressure on everyone to make better films and stories, which is a good thing.
Loved the line "Or maybe not" in the trailers, and loved it even more in the movie! :-)
