I live in LA and I have no idea where South Bay is except that it sounds really far and most likely south. But Eagle Rock has Casa Bianca which is like stepping into 1955 Pizza Heaven. There's also Tomato Pie in Silverlake & West Hollywood, which is totally Upstate New York style right down to the Steamed Hams.

There's no "should" about it. If you eat a Red Baron pizza feeling bad afterwards is pretty much guaranteed.
