That looks a lot more like a sports jersey. Ponchos are more just like a sheet with a hole in the middle, thus open on the sides, no sleeves, which maybe this is,I can’t be sure from that photo.

When I was a kid in the 50s-60s comic books used to offer army surplus jeeps for $50.00. Apparently they were completely disassembled and packed in that grease/ jell stuff. Man I wanted one so bad but I thought I had no mechanical abilities. Sad
