Oh hey, it's 9news where the most un-newsworthy and ridiculous crap in Colorado become headline news.
Uh, you do realize back then people would buy new cars every 3-5 years because their old car broke down, right?
For Japan, it's all about perspective. Japanese porn on one hand, and the weirdest and the most repressive sexual laws on the other...
Bingo!
Against big government...except when it benefits them.
Considering that ad shows the old Santana "riding into the sunset"...
Lol at the "1 million Accord" Accords. Seriously, I saw more of those "special" Accords than regular ones.
I dunno, the Santana and Jetta are more often bought for fleet sales (and generally seen as cheap and disposable by taxicab companies.)
Nowadays (at least in my part of Colorado), reliable=anything 10-20 years old still worth as much or even more than they were worth 3-4 years ago. Usually overpriced as fuck but still manage to sell (a 100,000 mile 95 Civic went for $6000 a few months ago).
US and the UK are VERY different markets. Most of those high-demand vehicles in the US barely sell in the UK.
At least it'll probably drive better, handle better and look better than this thing based on a 80s BL platform.
Also, that 1.5L Toyota motor is probably also a illegal ripoff, so you get even less power and none of the reliability! Yay!
Chinese legal cases usually ends up in "fuck you" to the plaintiff, so most don't bother with suing...
In some of these dealerships, you can buy a "conversion kit" and voila, you have a new Audi...by the badges anyways.
Yeah, but are you guys going to be the ones supporting the industry with cash?
The problem is that Americans haven't been actually exposed to the anime industry in the 80s and 90s, just a select few gems that were actually worth watching that somehow made it to America.
Not disagreeing with you, however I think I can see why anime companies see it as a risky way to go.
