This is true for general public and not the higher tax brackets. I can’t get any benefits for all my work writeoffs cause it’s not enough for the standard deduction :( not to mention the last 2 years they all fucked over anyone who actually did make use of work deductions like my mom.

See that’s the thing though, if 80% of the money coming in is going straight to charity it isn’t worth it for the company to claim that much on the 20% of actual profit coming in, hence them lowering it to equate out that it does actually work in their benefit. That’s kinda why they wanted to get rid of sliders…

That is not how i have heard it from people in the know. There are special incentives for amount of charity donated and it does give bonus to tax writeoff more than just the flat amount non-taxed

To be fair donating through a company to charity is a scam as the company reports that as tax writeoffs. And is it even a donation from you if you are getting product out of it? Just straight up donate yourself. Most normal people do not keep the receipts to do write offs themselves if that would even count through…

Sort of, in a way they are separate issues but also the same. What you value as part of a game is not the same as what I value. Some people value collecting costumes and changing their character looks even in single player games. Still a part of the game experience.

We really need to get off the cosmetic vs gameplay thing. Cosmetics are part of gameplay whether you believe it or not. It’s a driver to play. While in a multiplayer game yes pay to win is more messed up, both deserve scrutiny. Game companies are who came up with the “It’s just cosmetic” tags and got that started into…

This argument has already been proven false, while one could make the argument that those should be classified as a type of gambling as well and i personally think so. Cards and random toys can still be sold and traded unlike digital lootboxes in 99% of games.

Nope there are plenty of nonlethal training and gadgets that can stop this. Taser guns are projectile. One stab before getting her physically to the ground is much less likely to have killed any person there than shooting them. Training  for them in my opinion should be to have tactical shirts on that can take a knife…

Yeah i was excited they had so many endgame locations, then disappointed all have these crazy ass timers. Totally is antithesis to a build based game, everyone gonna just go what kills things the fastest in the longrun now. I did quite enjoy the story but stopped at endgame for now in hopes they rethink this.
