I got the impression from watching this last night that he wouldn’t be the permanent ‘Not Stig’. Did I miss something? Did it say somewhere that he’s the permanent track driver? It would make sense for track time consistency, but I figured that they would have other drivers based on the where the tent was each week.

Good point- I have a ‘14 Chevy Sonic without the fog lights (small fake grill inserts in their place), and was thinking about drilling out the slots to make it a “real” grill, but luckily thought better of it. It bugs me, but they’re small and I like the rest of the car’s aesthetic anyways. I’m sure drilling those…

Sorry, but I can’t get over those enormous fake grills around the fog lights. I know lots of cars do this nowadays, but this appears to be the most extreme example I can recall. Otherwise I like it - especially the exhaust.

This made me think of what I believe would be an awesome idea for autonomous cars though! The illusion of speed via some kind of fun button (Fast & Furious button?). For starters, pressing the button could at first make all your screens (center console and virtual instrument cluster) show like the ‘Star Wars entering…
