If it’s the fucking Changli I will burn this website to the ground

The only reason we’ve got so many roofs (rooves?) flying off is because we’re reporting on them. I told people to slow down on the reporting, and this problem with rooves flying off will just disappear, like a miracle.

Timeshares are great, for your friends to own and let you use.

I just noticed that the wheels are shod with Firehawks too. Great tire, I have them on my Miata. I could have picked up a better tire for sure, but the value to performance ratio of them is high.  I’m just a little concerned over something as important as a tire choice going the “value” route on a car with a V10 and

these are routes that followed paths that have been well worn by folks venturing west well before automobiles were in the picture.

Always thought it was pretty funny that when they did away with air-cooled engines they decided to start naming their cars after types fast-moving air.

“It’s not that I can’t help these people. It’s just I don’t want to.”

Regarding #1, I really like the gawker sites and it’s sad to watch them slowly come apart, but Kinja has -always- been one of the worst commenting platforms. There’s no way to collapse comments, no sorting, there’s no real threading, there’s constant gating that you have to go through to actually see more comments; I

Some people have what I call “car blindness”. They can see the color of a car, but that’s about it. No other details register. My wife has this affliction. I consider it almost crippling.

On the contrary I believe American’s like nice things. They just can’t afford them. 40 years of sending middle class jobs overseas and a government that thinks a rising stock market means a good economy has gutted the middle class.

The famous great sounding Chrysler V6

Yeah, don’t get me started on how difficult it was to renew my wife’s SUV in Missouri last month.

Nice car/price. But I am confused by the results of the poll:

Lots of comments screaming ‘track rat’ on this car, but really they don’t know what they’re getting into.

Your comments don’t appear to be greyed to me. I’ll see what I can do. Thanks for reading.

This car’s body is well and truly beyond saving. Trust me, this car will never be one that anyone wants to save. I’ve spent about 15 grand making it mechanically perfect again and have way more in it than it’s worth already, and that’s including the rust and terrible paintwork.

Alternative Headline: KIA REFUSES TO SELL ITS SOUL TO AMERICA

Perhaps my understanding of Boxster prices was purely anecdotal; I know two people that own Boxsters, and both bought them for $6k. I’m surprised they bring so much; I always considered them “The Poor Man’s Porsche.”

Nonsense.  $4K probably is NP, but that’s not how the game works.  Any moron can spend 20 minutes washing and vacuuming before they take pictures of their old toy.  Hell, I dusted a FREE ceiling fan I put on craigslist last weekend just so I didn’t disgust the takers.  Come on bro.
