Sr20det is a brilliant engine. 200whp.
Actually. It’s 86 x 86 are the magic numbers. 86mm of stroke for 86mm of diameter. That equals to 499.3 CC.
Towing my racecar to the track autonomously ??? SIGN ME UP!
Again someone who hates their hands?
Canada too! I have been more often to the dentist then the doctor.
Stef, you speak like a race car driver. It’s second nature once you have driven side by side in a race environment, where you have to drive as fast as you can with the space you are given. Some people after years of driving can’t park and wouldn’t care to learn. It’s a skill like anything. The problem starts when you…
Yes, we do!
The heads are warped, that’s why!
Can’t they just use the brz engine and add a turbo?
AHHHHH that result table hurts my eyes...
F1 needs to have predefined engine mounting points. You should be allowed to swap any engine in any chassis minus the electrical harness. That way, a chassis F1 team(William/Force India/McLaren/etc) will not need to commit to an engine supplier and be able to switch mid season. They are all using Mclaren ECU systems…
My Car is worth maybe 1/10 or even 1/20 of the GTR, but it is a race car. Being on a race track they force you to have a fire extinguisher on you. I went one step further and bought: https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productselection.asp?Product=2426&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=2426&gclid=CjwKCAiA0IXQ…
King Krash Kvyat is gone? YES! He was better this mid season, but last season, he wouldn’t make it out of turn one, at least 1/3 of the time. He is a money sink.
The syncros are easy to replace on the transmission. I own a used to be drift car, now daily/road course junky.
EE is cringe worthy for people in the industry. He isn’t wrong on the technical stuff, but he sneaks in some of his opinions which are sometimes misleading. Btw, most of these example happen on good engines too. Carbon build up isn’t all bad. It’s impossible to eliminate with a “combustion engine”.
They don’t need to pay Engineers and test areas as much since the cars a pretty close to a spec series. Also engines tend to have more moving parts= more time on the drawing board and in meetings.
That was probably Hamilton in America.
Unhook the fuel feed line and add an extension to drain it in a safe container. Run the in tank fuel pump untill empty. Done.
I failed my first exam. Not because I didn’t know how to drive. Not because how I didn’t know how to park. Not because I didn’t know how to merge. not because I wasn’t looking into my blind spot. I failed because I didn’t know how to use an automatic transmission. My dads car at the time was: 1990 Honda Civic Si HB…
