I suggest any team wanting to boost their budget, pays the same amount to their second team. For example: Redbull and Toro Rosso. Mercedes and force India. That would give an incentive to build up a second team.
This is the chain of thought you would expect a grown man to go through.
There are many types of motors. Two common ones are Brushed and Brushless motors. Most basic motors are brushed. They are meant to provide huge amounts of torque for their size. But tend to have those brushes wear and fail by friction. Brush-less turn much faster and require a bigger armature, but don’t have any…
I am at work so I can only see the gif. It’s the worst example for an electrical motor usage. Pinion and ring gear+ 5 speed transmission? I though one of the reasons electrical motors are efficient is because they don’t need either?
I would still rather watch the sky Team. I just hope Paul DI Resta actually gets another F1 seat.
Maybe if the Chiron lost a few pounds...
Your Mama is so fat, her car’s tires can’t take the pressure.
80 vs 65 is 18% faster. Its not only faster for you, but it allows 18% more people on the road to travel in the same direction without creating traffic. That is without considering the statistic implication of the randomization of police traffic control which is very low in California but higher in Canada.
It isn’t criminal to speed. It is a financial investment. Time is money.
Slowing down the car is never fuel efficient.
Engine braking is fine. I do it in traffic all the time. The problem is that people can’t rev match, so they slip the clutch. Now in it’s self, a slight slip is fine, but I have seem people “engine brake” by going from 4th to 2nd and letting their clutch do all the catching up work.. That is when you have to remember,…
You can practice this track as much as you want in the comforts of your home. Both Asseto Corsa and Iracing have a scanned version that is 1 for 1 a copy of the track. This year we (sim)raced a 24hrs there all with pit stops and driver changes. What I can tell you, after 8 hrs you get to know it by heart and slow…
Actually mid-front is better for racing. Most teams push their engines as back as possible and behind the front axle. That is why the corvette is so successful. Even Porsche’s GTE is mid engine, not rear engine anymore.
It’s not even the “M3" version of the car. Maybe if it was a Silvia S14 K it would be worth more. I have a relatively un-molested Silvia S13 K stashed somewhere that should be worth more then this.

Again, the post was for consumer track tires. They are not dangerous. Most of them are cheaper, provides more grip, but lasts a lot less(average 7-10 miles, depending how many heat cycles). I have less bike experience, but that market from what I have seen doesn’t have as broad of tire compounds as road cars. I have…
But the post was talking about DOT tires. Obviously R-comps are another breed. Even their construction is different and pressures they run at.
I only hear statements like this from fellow engineers that are specialized.
For everyone else there isn’t much difference between a track tire and a road tire(for a road car). The construction is very similar. Tires that I like to call enthusiast compounds Like Nitto NT-05, Hancook RS3, Bridgestone RE-11 .etc(around…
