And also, Logan has always been something of a grumpy old man, this is just the ‘logical’ end to his story.
My personal feeling on Peters Parker is that McGuire nailed the 60's sad sack Peter but not the quippy happy Spidey, Garfield did a better job of playing Spiderman than his weird angry loner Peter, but Tom Holland managed to play both parts successfully.
A bit unrelated, but I always cringe when someone paints Back to the Future as a story about incest.
