I’ve been meaning to watch this film for a long time but it had such a limited release I never got the chance to see it in the cinema, so when I saw it was out on DVD, I had to buy it and goddamn, I love it.

Just back from watching the sequel to Independence Day and whilst it’s - unsurprisingly - nowhere near as good as it’s predecessor, it’s a better sequel than I was expecting with some great moments but there’s a lot of stupid stuff that drags it down.
