I'm a new father with a new baby girl and I was wanting to do something interesting for her bedroom.

I'd equate this to the usefulness of a paper map. The best thing about this is that I just downloaded a map for downtown Chicago where I work and quite frequently lose either GPS or Data/Voice signal, and sometimes both.

I prefer piano wire. Not as messy.

I do this every weekend. I have a baby on the way so I have paid down my high interest credit card debt aggressively, and opened several savings and other accounts with different goals, contributions, and time-frames. I manage a Fin Aid/Fin Lit program. In my experience that advice is completely sound in regards to student finances. There is A LOT of information out there on how to do this. I apologize in advance for the soapbox, for some oversimplifications and the re-post.

I am a Program Manager for a financial aid and financial literacy program in Chicago working with mostly public schools. I have to say all of this advice is completely sound. We all struggle with finances, but it is important to keep trying in an attempt to make it manageable for you.

Yeah I'm clearly not the only that does this. I use this for everything. Taking the groceries into the house is a great example of when I feel everyone probably does it without realizing it.

@deep_fryed: That is a great point that I didn't really get into but you are absolutely right. In Chicago we really don't have anything that would qualify as an ascent so I didn't think about that. Same goes for endurance rides as well. Nothing is better than getting some relief on those pressure points, including

Doubletwist makes it easy. Drag and drop syncing and converting. Works perfect with Nexus One. Word to the wise though, these files can be relatively massive so I try to only put one movie or only a few episodes of something at any given time.
