"I know I can't break canon but dammit a man can dream!!!" - - Steve Kloves

Not just that but Danny was going to go prep before she went greaser. So both people were willing to change themselves for this shallow romance.

Somehow "Secret Diary of a Call Girl" had a much more appropriate ending, where Billie Piper just cuts ties and decides to move on with her life. Nowhere near what "Sex and the City" achieved but much more fitting.

Hey Titanic had everything. Women it had romance, men it had action, and black people got to see two thousand rich white people drown.

The ultimate: Molly Ringwald and Andrew McCarthy in "Pretty in Pink".

Her fainting when meeting Carly Simon was charming though.

In the books, he ends up with Ramona. In the films he also does, but they filmed an alternate ending where he ends up with Knives. And the video game expands it where he can end up with Kim.

I saw him with Prince's band on the Musicology tour back in '04. Everyone got a brief solo, but his was easily the best. Such a tragedy.

Mara Wilson wrote an amazing article suggesting that Lindsay Lohan actually stop acting, because it clearly brings her no joy anymore. But she theorized she couldn't because she literally doesn't know anything else. You grow up in that and are groomed from such a young age, I suppose it's natural to think there's

Not to mention Michael Mann's use of pop music is still unparalleled. I already loved "Shadow of the Sun" by Audioslave, but using it for such a contemplative moment like that hit me right in the gut.

(At the company meeting) "Okay this'll probably save time: who in this room HASN'T been accused of sexual harassment?"

Certainly never with Adam Horowitz.

To paraphrase Keith Olbermann: if you don't know the difference between a loofah and a falafel, you don't get to use either on a woman.

How lucky a break is that? You go through this huge string of career-killing flops, and all of a sudden you get cast in a Harry Potter film? That's like jumping out of a plane without a parachute and figuring out a way to not die before you hit the ground.

Dude went through a real rough patch with his film roles (Good Luck Chuck, anyone?). I'm happy he landed on something that plays to his talents better.

Best of RTD are Series 1 & 4. Worst is Series 2 (sheesh did Tennant and Piper carry that one).

RTD Saxon never felt like the Master to me. Even Eric fucking Roberts got in the ballpark. THIS felt like the Master top-to-bottom. The smarm, the trolling, the seething anger.

That's true. Matt Smith years were all about FATE OF THE UNIVERSE. I'm happy the Capaldi years went more personal in the finales.
