As bad as Batman & Robin is, I'm kind of over dog-piling on it.

GAH fucking Black Dahlia. Josh Hartnett is bad, but really everyone gives a horrible performance (except ironically the Black Dahlia herself, for what little we see of her). My big gripe is Hartnett (as the "hero") actively causes more harm and ruins more lives than he saves in the film. Top to bottom it's just

Same thing when I saw Birth of a Nation in film class. It's simultaneously hilarious and horrifying to see typically heroic tropes applied to abhorrent groups like the clan. You realize for good and ill that modern cinema started here.

And he looks defeated by everything. Defeated by his ex-wife, his daughter, by the abhorrent screenplay and direction, everything. I've never been sadder watching a performance by an actor I once loved…until "Yogi Bear", but that's beside the point.

Eeeyoinks. That's a kick in the balls AND a slap in the face.

I worked in a theater when Cancun came out, and usually we'd sneak into showings when we were bored. Cancun we couldn't make heads or tails, and it was gone in less than two weeks. What a non-movie.

I saw that with a friend who had never seen the TV series. We drove home angry for very different reasons.

"Crossroads", the Britney Spears movie. I had to see it for my high school newspaper. I still list it as the genuinely worst movie I've ever seen in my life. I've seen The Room, Plan 9, Troll 2, even Mario Bros in the theater but had a good time. "Crossroads" OFFENDED me. The movie is disgusting.

(opens man hole) "SHIT I love that smell! Reminds me of biscuits and gravy!"

He's been such a bastard to the Press Corp they were probably revelling in it.

Not for nothing, but if you have this many suits against the freaking Holocaust Center, maybe you think "Maybe I'M the bad guy?"

"Bring them down to the Holocaust Center. Then meet me at the Genocide Rink later."

Aw but it has all the Hitler rides and games. And that great restaurant The Bunker.

Doesn't matter the time or regime, there's always going to be something amazing following the phrase "What I meant to say was…"

What's funny is I thought for most of the Frieza saga it'd be Vegeta to land the killing blow. He's clearly the one with the most history with Frieza and stands to lose the most if he fails. Goku just kinda bombs in because…that's what he's always done.

That implies sensible, logical people work for Fox News.

They're both the worst. They deserve each other, really.

It's funny watching the original Dragonball when Goku was a child, because he's a much better character. The endlessly good-natured naivete works well in contrast to his amazing strength and determination. But by Z he's just a typical boring invincible hero and never really finds another gear.

And besides everyone knows Francine is the best character on that show.

Y'know, it's a testament to how well Daria was made that I can't think of one character who was "the worst". They all become essential and likeable in their own way over time.
