Overall sales may be down but most are posting increased revenues year-over-year. That’s what happens when an OEM stops selling 100,000 small cars with minimal profit margins and instead sells 75,000 crossovers with MUCH higher margins.

i think its integrated into the license plate frame/holder. all states require rear plates so there you go. its high enough on the back where fording rivers wont be an issue

You don’t need a huge screen for back up cameras though, some companies include the screen in the rearview mirror.

I think the [touch]screen was mandatory due to the new regulation requiring back-up cameras. I’m willing to bet that whole issue about the camera was a major stickler for this vehicle and the designers. Not too many other cars on the road I can think of that the new requirement would be such a hurdle as this.
