I see your point, but this is more like not blaming the thief because the store has a secret hidden exit that, if you’re willing to find and exploit, makes it all legal.

The Abarth sounds cool and all but the AMG CLA/GLA45 twins would like to have a word with you...

IMO the best sounding 4-banger exhaust is the Fiat 500 Abarth, but i don’t think that sort of sound fits a Ford Mustang too well.

How does the new ecoboost engine sound? Pushing 310hp, I can see it being very high-pitched and whiny due to the high RPMs and turbo. I want to know if they are able to make it have a more traditional muscle car sound... without pumping fake noise in the cabin.

Dodge is already doing that and you have the option of buying them back for only $1.

You mention “people causing the problem”... so now the hard-working mother who can only afford a used mini-van while raising her kids is the bad guy and she should be punished because she can’t afford an EV, let alone finding one that fits her lifestyle?

I don’t think that’s a concern. Go to a Jeep meet and you’ll see that JK owners have no problem spending money on useless lighting upgrades.

So for the people who modify their Jeeps and cut the fenders or put aftermarket ones on... they will also need to re-position the turn indicators somewhere else on the vehicle? That task just became way more costly and time consuming.

Just keep lowering the prices and I’m sure you won’t struggle to sell them anymore. I would drive [almost] anything for the right price... I would never drive an Equinox.

So how much will this Touareg cost?

Considering it is just a electrical mod, I wonder how much other suppliers will offer the same thing... if I can buy a plug and play system that does exactly the function with say a “carbon” handle for $599, why would I ever pay for Ford’s (besides warranty)?

they should title the 9th movie something with “ten” and completely skip “nine” altogether like Windows and Apple did.

I cannot wait to see Clarkson put this in something ridiculous. “Hellcat GTI”? “Hellcat Dune Buggy”?

1st Gear: Nobody Can Take The Wheel Now

It’s amazing to me how much such a small company can innovate, just look at the small but important details. Like paint, both the red and the grey MX-5's look insane in real life. Pictures don’t do that paint justice.

I toured the Mazda factory last year and they do have a program where people attend school and are preferred (guaranteed? don’t remember) positions at the company when they complete their program. Not sure if that applied to design but was at least in place for engineering and manufacturing.

The kids who like to design for speed and the kids who like to design for price and durability?

to protect the lazy?

I see the new Ford GT

There has to be a design school in Japan where the A and B students are hired at Mazda and then the C and D students go to Honda or Toyota... it has to be the only explanation for how one company can do it so right and the others can’t even find the middle-ground.
