This article didn’t say anti-vax. It said vaccine skeptical, which is a pretty fair (if not charitable) description of the position as best as you can make out from her waffling positions. Another, more apt description might be “anti-vaccine panderer.”

If you’re a Sanders supporter, and he is a Clinton supporter, shouldn’t you currently be supporting the excutive branch candidate that he thinks will best help him accomplish his legislative branch goals?

That’s a pretty major correction - you didn’t speak to the actual person, just a stranger who happened to have the same name - to bury at the end of the story. Putting the parenthetical note in the headline isn’t enough, the headline itself should be corrected and the story have the correction at the beginning.

I’m having too hard a time getting over the absurd amount of money she’s being paid to see this as overly altruistic.

I feel like a person whose introduction to porn was their rapist abductor kind of doesn't have the most level starting point for a conversation about the subject. But maybe that's just me.

I don’t really want to defend him. But he does start off by talking about the Patriot Act (which was solidly post 9/11) and I think he’s pretty clearly talking about the 8 years after that was passed.

He meant post 9/11, after the Patriot Act, and he actually SAID that at this event, just not where the video above (conveniently) begins. This post and headline are inaccurate and even dangerous; he in no way is “forgetting” that 9/11 happened, even if he is stretching timelines here (Patriot Act was signed in October

Yeah, went back and took a hard look, and this is a dumb and even dangerous post. Jesus, this shit is bad enough without cherry-picking/making stuff up so that you can give validity to the whole “evil media is against us!” Trump campaign slogan.

Since he talks about the PATRIOT Act in the sentence before, I think it’s slightly more like he’s talking about after that, than it is that the guy that talks about 9/11 more than anybody forgetting about 9/11.

Islam didn’t even exist until Obama took office.

Nope. Nope nope nope. People live where they live, many of them in geographically vulnerable areas. How much of California is sitting on a fault line? How many people live in coastal zones? How many live in places prone to tornadoes, or drought? Nowhere is safe from natural disaster. New Orleans is a gorgeous,

Men have very standard professional attire and women don’t because of sexism.

I have a take on this pressing topic of public concern, and here it is: she didn’t like the texture and refused to eat it when she was a toddler. Then, being a California girl (correct?) she immediately realized, at age 4 or so, that she’d be better off avoiding carbs altogether, so she stuck with her dislike of

I dont think the tweet supports those things at all. It’s idiotic if people really believe whoever wrote this tweet really intends on using abortions as a form of birth contol.

I thought it was the opposite- making fun of anti-choice people who think the point of abortion is so slutty sluts can have sex w/out getting pregnant. But your interpretation makes sense to me as well.

Yeah, I thought it was kind of funny too. The joke is parodying the position that access to abortion encourages people to have unsafe sex. I know it’s anathema to have to explain a joke, but apparently people are taking this as real advice.
