The ones mentioned here are book plot holes and by extension became movie plot holes. The movies failed the books in my opinion, but that doesn’t mean that the books aren’t flawed themselves. There are many world-building or just plain logic holes. They infuriate me, but I love Rowling nonetheless.

Looking at these pics of crazy hair and costumes, I can only think of one thing: the Capitol is real, everyone.

This gif is my new favorite thing. And Lord knows... the scary menz?

I think there’s a super-fine, almost truly invisible mesh holding the whole dress together. If you look around the area where a jewel neckline would traditionally be, you can just barely see it.

I suppose my sample group is a bit limited—the handful of Brits in my grad program had all read at least Possession.

I think the pensieve is sort of a private thing that is only used in dire need. I think it belonged to Dumbledore, so he didn't really have reason to question Sirius. Or he knew that Sirius needed to be locked up so Harry could defeat Voldemort in the future, or something. Dumbledore is pretty wise in that way. Also,

The sad thing about any addiction but which is particularly true of an eating disorder, is that you can’t help a person who doesn’t want help. An eating disorder is so much more than disordered eating, and, as someone who is currently in treatment, I can tell you that the pain of getting the help you need (especially

How has no one posted this, yet?

I’d watch it. I would love to see her play a princess in a movie. The gowns, the beauty, the picturesque imagery, a worthwhile and worthy prince. I’m here for it.

Unless this person severely physically unwell—there’s nothing you can do.

She is a live action Disney princess.

Is the person’s life in danger? If not, I don’t think there’s much you can do except be a friend, and not be a trigger. Recovering is hard enough when you want to - it probably isn’t possible if you don’t. On the other hand, if they collapse, you call an ambulance. And if they start eating more and get refeeding
