I’m not worried. Dev’s leave studios all the time, and while the timing is suspicious, it doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a problem with the game. There’s bound to be some growing pains with Microsoft suddenly having custody of 15+ new studios.

I’m waiting for Step 7) Encourage more active users to play the game by substantially reducing the price or putting it on Game Pass

How to people continue to act like downscaling isnt a thing and hasnt been a thing since PS4 Pro and before that on PC? There is literally no reason for the S to exist. You can play the X or the PS5 on a 1080P screen and still benefit.

I don’t know about that, good 4k 55" TVs have been around $300 for a bit and apparently that’s what everyone spent their stimulus checks on lol

It doesn’t need to go away. The key is just to get them a year later, in their improved condition, for 15 bucks on a Steam Sale.

Imagine if someone made one of these live service looter games that actually learned from previous games in the genre. That would really be something.

Ah, the Rapid Live Service Death Spiral continues:

It depends on the game but, yeah, by and large this is par for the course with live-service games.

With the sole exception of The Division 2, which was loaded to the gills with solid content at launch and only got better over time, every single live-service game has launched with basically the exact same issues...it’s

Man, I really want to like this game but they are making it so hard.

I’m a big fan of having the three major console producers using different strategies to attract consumers.

This sucks for those people, but Raangee’s whole pitch sounds like something Troy McClure would say on an infomercial

Look, I feel bad for these guys, but where the hell are 20 year old’s getting 5k that they can just send to someone like this?

I knew Splitscreen would eventually return, and I knew I would hate it without ever listening to it. Turns out I was 1 for 2. I love the hosts and am looking forward to listening to Splitscreen 2.0.

This is awesome! Subscribing immediately. Glad to hear the Splitscreen name is in good hands

I actually found the stand design for the ps5 rather neat, especially the slot to put the screw in so it’s harder to lose it.

Brings me back to the days of the “System Wars” forums of Gamespot, where I and all the other pimply nerds would fight in gladiator combat on which billion dollar company deserved our milk money more.

I thought Xbox 360 having the swapable faceplates was the dumbest thing in the god damn world when they announced it.

yeah, I think that instead of doing limited console edition they might just sell the panels. No need to buy an entire new system to get that new visual.

I mean, my life will be fine, sure. I’d still like one to replace my One X. But it’s incredibly frustrating that there’s Xbox Series X pre-orders for sale on my local Facebook Marketplace for $800.

Purchased a Series X at Microsoft’s site.
