Na. Botters should be. But if people buy it fairly like everyone else, then it is theirs to do as they please.

I dunno, at least it is better than the launch lineup of Knack and Rezogun.
Yo, it’s an inanimate object. You don’t need to get offended for it. It has no feelings and it’s going to make money hand over fist. It doesn’t need you to play defense.
This is getting shockingly close to literally just being a Mini-ITX computer.
Many people have called out how big the PS5 is including Kotaku. Also Luke is mainly an XBOX guy..On top of that though this was about the XSX because they have the shell of it in their offices. It has nothing to do with Sony. In fact they don’t even mention Sony. Your insecurity brought you to that conclusion.

I think you might be a little too defensive regarding this article. Nothing negative is stated at all. I’m definitely getting a Series X once I upgrade to a 4K TV next year, and there’s really no arguing that it’s a big friggin box.
Wow... Projecting much?? He made an article about the true size of the XSX. It is huge by volume and wait. It’s form factor makes it look smaller than it actually is.
Regardless of that you comment definitely comes from a place of insecurity for an inanimate box of plastic, metal and silicon.
Relax, disconnect yourself…
If you look there at the side of the PS4, you’ll understand why I feel like consoles really should be looking more like mini PCs than they do. I’m not a Microsoft guy, but goddamn if this big ass pillar isn’t a breath of fresh air after 15 years of losing consoles to cooling issues.
For $299 it seems like it’ll be a good way to get access to my games on things like the old TV in the basement etc. Basically this makes it cost-effective to be able to game in rooms that traditionally would only have the old last-gen console.
Once my XboxOne dies, I’ll probably pick this up. It’s mostly for my kid as I don’t have much time to game anymore. So I don’t really care about 4K.

Wow I don’t even know what year to date this comment. 2008? 2009? It has been a very long time since I’ve seen this incredibly poorly though out comment. Hell, one of the reasons why I mainly on comment on Kotaku is that there isn’t much of this and people actually have somewhat of an understanding of the game…
No, you pay $60 for a big AAA game based on a very famous IP that has a full single-player story mode that has fully voice acted cinematics. You also get a multiplayer mode to play through with your friends, and will get FREE updates with brand new characters as they come out.
You didn’t read the part where the microtransactions are all cosmetic and can be earned in game, did you?
God, I can’t imagine the development hell that this project has gone through.
This can’t be for more than gauging demand right?
You’re welcome.
Exclusives are a cancer on the game industry, I’ve never understood people who cheer that their favourite sports team multinational corporation secured more exclusives than competing multinational corporations - as long as you can play the game on your device of choice, it shouldn’t matter if the game also happens to…
Nothing here that looks all that “must have”
While I’m not a fan of timed exclusives, I suppose that if someone really wanted to play any of these games as soon as possible, it could be a deciding factor in which console they buy first? For instance, with the Destiny launch, I do have friends that switched from Xbox to PS4 due to the awful timed-exclusivity on…
