Thats disappointing. Hopefully all can be remedied with an update. I would hate if for some reason Quick Resume is a little too ambitious and they are either unable to fix all the issues or they have to scale down the feature. This will likely get fixed eventually and maybe be one of those issues people completely

I actually preordered if over a year ago I believe, when it was still supposed to release in the early part of 2020. The only reason I did that was because amazon had a preorder discount that brought it down to $50ish (which has been an ongoing sale). I ended up cancelling the preorder though as I'd rather have the

Im thinking the same but that can always change if the game releases and seems to be living up to the hype. I’m also curious if next gen consoles will have any small upgrades at launch. That could play a factor in my decision as well.

I remember being upset that the game didn’t have a new game + option. Probably would have played through again with NG+ but had no interest in starting over from scratch as most of the fun comes from the guns and mechanics you unlock.

Sight correction, Sunset Overdrive wasn’t a launch game. It released the following October.

I think Sony was thinking about the user experience they just weren’t thinking the same way Microsoft was. They redesigned the UI for a better experience and while there are missing features the UI is super smooth. There isn’t any lag like what could be experienced at times on PS4. Accessing the store is quick and

There’s no longer a sale or deals section on the store?

Maybe Sony will update this so that we can switch the functionality so that it's a tap for home screen, hold for the game bar (I forget the official name). But even if not I'm sure most of us will adjust after a couple weeks with the console.

Quick resume would definitely be a welcome feature although the games I’ve played so far have had such speedy load times that this hasn’t been an issue. Might be different with some PS4 games that don’t fully utilize the SSD.

On one hand it is surprising and disappointing that some features are missing, especially ones that are currently available on PS4, but at the same time it’s not a major issue as a lot of these things can be easily added with an update. Hopefully they come sooner or later but for the most part they are missing

If it’s the only PlayStation exclusive you are interest in it probably isn’t worth buying a console for. But if you are also curious about God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us series, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, etc I’d say it would definitely be worth picking up a PlayStation once the price is right. Maybe

If you liked the Arkham games and are a Spiderman fan you’ll enjoy the game. Combat is similar to Batman but a little better imo. It’s quicker and more responsive while also having a little more freedom to it, imo at least. The story is good as well and would probably rank close to some of the better Spiderman movies.

Funny because with Anthem it was "Did they learn nothing from Destiny?"

Agree. Seeing that Fahey is a host has me back on board.

Wow. By "sit on" I thought they meant which console would they rather wait to get. You know like someone asks you a question and you respond "oh I don't know I'll have to sit on it for a minute." I didn't realize until the second or third response that they literally meant sit on.

Unfortunately there will always be people willing to pay scalper prices for products that can have a limited quality.

Good idea in theory but it will just lead to an issue of “I bought this item with my own money why can’t I sell it for whatever price people are willing to pay?” People could also bring up the argument of how is it different than selling a collector’s item for well over it's its original retail price.

The digital part is what I don't understand about the 3D All Stars issue. Yeah the limitedness of the physical copy sucks but are people really missing out on anything by going digital? If my options were to buy digital or either not get the game at all or have to pay extra money I'd gladly go digital (would probably

Here’s my question about 3D All Stars, can’t people just buy a digital copy of the game if they want? Why is there such a mad rush for the physical copy of the game? Is there anything people are missing out on by going digital over physical?

I was lucky enough to get a preorder and if I didn’t I would have tried like hell to get a PS5 at MSRP as soon as I could but no way in hell would I ever consider paying scalper prices. I couldn’t imagine “needing” a product like a console so bad that I’d be willing to pay hundreds of dollars more or perhaps double
