Microsoft could have definitely made it easier for consumers and kids but I still think people are overreacting a bit when it comes to the confusion between all the models. We haven’t even really seen official ads and commercials yet and that alone can clean up a lot of confusion. Also the Xbox One lines have been

Do kids not make Christmas lists anymore? I feel like kids are usually pretty good about what they want. They should at least be able to figure out that they want the new Xbox which narrows it down

If a kid is asking for a console for Christmas there's a good chance they know what they want and can write it down on a list. If they don't know exactly which one they want they'll probably be happy with whichever one they get.

I plan on definitely buying a PS5 but I’d consider buying a Series S as well with how low the price is. And I was someone originally thinking "what's the point of the Series S." But have to at least see how games will compare between Series S and X.

Seems like an easy problem to avoid if kids write down what they want. Do kids not make Christmas lists anymore?

Im sorry but I don’t understand this complaint. These items are obtainable without needing to pay correct? If you don’t want to pay do it the old fashion way and play until your earn those items. The same exact thing we would have to do if there was no pay option.

I thought games like Killzone: Shadow Fall, NBA 2k14, Ryse, and Infamous Second Son were clear improvements over late 360/PS3 games. I even think the cross gen games at the time looked noticeably better compared to what we have seen thus far from PS5/Series X cross gen games (although COD Cold War looks pretty damn

It is weird to bring him in at this point. Either there are far more issues than we know about and the game will see a substantial delay or he’s just playing a small role to help guide 343 the rest of the way. Either way not a good sign for Infinite.

You’d be surprised. I saw some people that thought “console launch exclusive” meant that the games were launching the same day as Series X.

Perhaps even worse is that there is going to be more online shopping than usual this year. I can only imagine the confusion after searching to buy an Xbox. At least with PlayStation the numbers keep it simple. With Xbox if you are a word or letter off you could end up with a very different product.

I always think about when I used to work at a retail store and some of the customers that would come in. You could get one customer that knows more than anyone that works at the store and you could get another customer that wouldn’t know the first thing about whatever product they are looking to buy.

Because having exclusives brings uniqueness to a console. Without exclusives there’s little reason to buy one console over the other, they’ll end up being pretty much the same product. Heck without exclusives there's little reason to buy a console. Better off investing in a gaming PC.

It’s all about Game Pass for Microsoft and the Xbox brand. I don’t think they care about any of this: “What’ll be console exclusive, what’ll be backwards compatible, what’ll release on both Xbone and XSX, what’ll have separate versions... who knows.” As long as we know that all of these games are available on Game

I don’t know what it is but I feel like some people are reacting like they’ve never experienced the lead up to a next gen console launch before. Things are a little different this time around due to circumstances of the world (Covid, protests) but other than that the lead up to these consoles hasn’t been too much

E3 hasn’t been all that exciting in awhile. The difference this year is that instead of getting everything all in one week it has been spread out over the course of a couple months.

“I keep saying it, but the lack of empathy displayed from a lot of people is troubling”

Sounds like you’ve finished the game. I just completed it last night and have been dying to talk to someone else about it. Full warning I’m probably going to rant a little because this will be my first time actually talking, well typing, my thoughts about the game. Hope your interested in discussing the game!

“my biggest complaint with the original TLOU was that there was just...no hope whatsoever in the game. It felt cynical that Joel basically ended the game where he started it in terms of character growth.”

That’s how I felt when people were up in arms over the leaks. That’s how I felt and still feel about people’s anger over The Last Jedi and the recent Star Wars trilogy in general. It’s ok to be upset as a fan when something you like doesn’t live up to your expectations but based on the overreactions you would think

To be fair every site will tell you that the highest score doesn’t mean a perfect or flawless game.
