I never understood the love for New Nightmare. Maybe it worked better when it first released but I always felt it was a good idea with poor execution.
“If you leave them alone—though why you would is beyond me, it’s free honor—their cross-burning ceremony goes wonderfully awry, with their robes catching fire and several members burning to death.”
Completely on board with that.
I think they would have received at least some backlash. The gaming industry as a whole has put out the message that more important things are going on in the world beyond videogames. Pretty much every major, and minor, company has put out a statement. A lot of gaming sites chose to not publish or report any gaming…
“Last time I checked white America was making a bigger deal about the loss of a Target than the loss of black human lives.”
“It happened, it was recorded, and they will be prosecuted according to the law. Are you really holding all cops accountable for the actions of those few?”
I agree, to an extent, that this is partly a PR move for Sony and other companies. It’s almost never a bad thing for a company to come off as progressive and supportive of important causes in the world.
Seems way too early to tell how much more combat focused this game is compared to the original. The first game had plenty of combat as well and the pre-release gameplay mainly showed off combat sections opposed to the slower, quiet moments. And naturally they are going to make and highlight improvements to the combat…
My thoughts as well. If I’m trying to avoid spoilers or information on a certain topic it usually helps to avoid things discussing said topic such as an article, comment section, YouTube video, etc. If not you are basically walking into a known mine field and then complaining about the mines being there.
I can see removing the “mind-boggling” part from the headline but other than that it’s obvious this article intended for people that either finished the game already or don’t care about the game being spoiled for them. No reason for anyone to feel alienated if they aren’t one of those people. And why would people have…
You’re trying to avoid spoilers but decided to click on an article about the games ending...
Yup I’ll be in the same situation. I’m also not looking forward to my wife’s reaction if she sees me murdering these dogs. She had a hard time when she was forced to hunt a deer in one of the Tomb Raider games. She definitely won’t like me slicing, stabbing, and shooting dogs.
You thought those replies were angry, aggressive and insulting? Yeesh
Taylor’s story should be told and heard but I don’t think it’s the right time for it and it definitely shouldn’t be told by the analysts and faces of NFL shows. Does anyone want to know what these sports anchors and former players think of the matter? I’m sure yesterday they (anyone on a sunday football show) was told…
Would love to know what this guy was thinking. Whatever he was trying to do couldn’t be worth what ended up happening to him.
1. If it was a work the camera wouldn’t have cut away. That’s always a clear indication that something unscripted occurred.
“The simplest explanation, as usual, may just be that WWE just doesn’t care about any of this”
“3. A lot of folks feel like they “abandoned” Google Fiber. I don’t really look at it that way (my opinion).”
Love this game. Gets me a little interested in buying a switch.
