Microsoft also had bad PR during the announcement that did a horrible job of highlighting the pros of the console and basically told games “too bad” if they didn’t like it. Not exactly the best way to get people excited about your new product.

4k at 60fps sounds extremely ambitious. I find it hard to believe that streaming games at that quality will work as smoothly as it sounds unless the user has extremely high internet speed.

The only way I learn about new or different rappers that are good, other than someone telling me “you have to check out THIS rapper,” is through Spotify. Every week I’ll check the “Your Discover Weekly” or “Your Release Radar.” I’ve learned about a few rappers I would have never listened to others wise from this.

This is exactly how I feel about a lot of the scandals and allegations that have come out over recent years. Learning who is involved or accused of such acts might be surprising (like learning how awful Bill Cosby was) but the fact that the rich and powerful are committing such acts and taking advantage of other isn’t

Also games like Destiny and the Division. There are plenty of references to determine what people like and dislike about these games and the right way to go about implementing certain elements.

I definitely feel like there is a line between heckling a player and being a complete asshole, and I’d like to think most players can distinguish the difference. A wise crack is one thing, but a disrespectful comment is something else entirely.

I don’t think this is necessarily the wrong way to handle it. It would be one thing if Westbrook reacted this way every time a fan heckled him but this seemed to be a case where a fan went a little too far.

“At some point a person is going to have to take a stand; especially in these heated times where certain people think they can say whatever they want without consequence”

I find it surprising that Anthem and games of the same genre are still struggling with the same issues at launch. The first Destiny came out over 4 years ago and there’s been quite a few of these games that have released since, not to mention that there is always one or two beta periods for these games. At this point

This is why I can’t get into these types of games. A lot of them have good gameplay but every other aspect of these games tests the patience of the gamers. Get into these games at launch and you are essentially playing an early access game that is a work in progress, not to mention that you are waiting to pay for more

Completely agree. It can be fun reading into things and coming up with theories but sometimes you just need to sit back and enjoy the ride. If you get too invested and read too deep into things it can make the movie experience less enjoyable.

“Things have gone so far ‘round that I’m afraid it’s becoming cool to hate “nerds” and “geeks” again...”

I feel like this is a little too much over thinking for a fun cameo. I doubt the filmmakers put much thought into it beyondthe film takes place in the 90s, we need a scene for Stan, what if he’s reading a script for Mallrats?”

Damn $90 is pretty rough for a new game, especially a game like this where dlc is all but required for the full experience.

“Feature downgrades though I find a bit more problematic as they do go into buying decisions of many people.”

No but if they are going to change and turn it around going into the playoffs they have to start somewhere and winning can fix a lot of problems. With how bad they’ve looked over the last month, last night was, at the very least, encouraging.

The team will also get a boost once Thompson returns. His defense and shooting alone changed the dynamic of the team a bit. It hurt them last night has they didn’t have a defender to match up with Hayward or anyone else on the C’s and they desperately lacked a shooter to knock down spot up 3s.

Not if they play like they did last night. That game showed how good they can be when they do play as a unit. Of course it’s only a one game sample and it wouldn’t shock me if they went into Sacramento tonight and laid an egg but this is the first time in a long time, perhaps all season, the Celtics showed just how goo

I wouldn’t say Trae is in the same camp as Steph but it’s an easy comparison to make because of the similarities. I’m not a big Trae Young fan but he is a fun player to watch especially considering he’s a rookie.

Something really needs to be done with how soft the officiating has become in this league. I thought the ticky tack fouls were the worst of it but this is another level. These are grown men, let them play. It makes the sport hard to watch when there are constant whistles and players get T’d up for showing a little emot
