That’s how I feel about a lot of these games. When Destiny came out my friends and I were in our early 20s so it was fairly easy to get a group online and play for a few hours doing strikes, raids, etc. But now days it’s just a hassle.

Though the 2018 model has better input lag for gaming so it depends what’s important to potential buyers.

So at the end of the trailer I came to the same conclusion you did, this girl is a goner, but I don’t think it had anything to do with the kiss involving gay characters. If Ellie was heterosexual, or even bi, and shared a kiss with a male I would have felt the same way just knowimg the nature of the game and it’s world

In the case of this particular series I’m not even sure what a happy ending would be. The first game wasn’t a happy ending, bittersweet at best, even from Joel’s perspective. Sure he basically got redemption but in the process he betrayed the only person he cares about in the world and, potentially, doomed humankind.

That’s how I feel sometimes. Like what does it matter if I actually complete a game or not as long as i had my fun with it. It can be a relief when I reach the conclusion that Im not going to finish a game but I got a fair share of entertainment from it.

It’s funny because I see gamers saying this console generation hasn’t been that good, usually siting a like of games or a lack of great games. But then I look at my backlog and I’m like “how could I possibly have the time to play and enjoy all of these games unless I decided to quit life?"

OCD, my gaming kryptonite. Well that and a mix of ADD as I’m easily distracted when another game catches my interest.

Apologies in advance for the long post.

I can only manage games like that once and awhile. With RE 2 coming out in January I’ll have to wait on Exodus for a bit. Playing those games back to back sounds like it could be a bit of a chore. I feel like I’ll need a game like Doom (Rage 2 will do) in between as a bit of a pallette cleanser. Go from feeling

Probably the weakest part of RE7 for me. Just wasn’t into the “monsters.” Don’t even remember what they were called.

What got me with the Last of Us 2 footage were the details and expressions during gameplay, accompanied by some really lifelike looking movement and animations. This was something that struck me way back when the original game was first shown off, and I expected the sequel to be an improvement but the footage was

My favorite game in the series was Black Flag and I haven’t played since the series since Unity. Origins looked interesting but there were just too many games for me to get to it this past year or so. Origins might end up being one of my summer games as I’ve caught up with my backlog a bit.

I thought the faces looked pretty great, some of the best I’ve seen in game. Then the Death Strand trailer came on and took the face detail and animation to another level.

Well let’s see what happens. Maybe the game will touch on it a bit, whether it is characters in the game that openly disagree with homosexuality (either the concept in general or for the reason you mentioned) or an authoritative establishment that is against the practice.

I think I got right around that same amount of time before I stopped. I was going to continue, surely there was more fun and entertaining gameplay to come, but a friend of mine that beat the game and was a fan of the series told me it wasn’t even worth it. I just took his word for it.

Ohh yeah I forgot about that part. I do think there was a part of Ellie looking at it out of curiousity. Like any teenage kid there’s that natural interest in what’s going on with sex and people of the opposite sex. Im straight but I would imagine even homosexual people, especially teens still figuring out their

Didn’t play Origins. For people that did play Origins what makes you more excited about Odyssey?

This actually fits in quite well philosophically considering Socrates is a part of this story. Is free will real or are all of our choices, unknowingly, predetermined? Yes the game is giving us, the player, mutliple choices and options however, from the characters perspective (Layla>Alexios/Kassandra) this free will

Isn’t that the irony? All these “fans” of the Last of Us either didn’t play the Left Behind dlc or weren’t paying attention enough to realize Ellie was already a lesbian.

I thought Resident Evil 2 was a surprise. Kind of forgot they were doing it and definitely didn’t expect a January release date.
