“I think the Forza franchise is one of the biggest things they have going for them at the moment.”

1. Great name (inspired by the podcast?)

Could fill the void left by Mass Effect Andromeda. I was so hyped for that game but after all the negative reception, not getting hooked by the game within the first few hours, and getting distracted by other games I lost interest. Tried getting back into the other week but one of my friends was told me “it’s not

Sunset Overdrive was a fun game. It got a little repetitive after awhile but I’d be excited for a potential sequel.

Im not sure if Bethesda will do a Fallout 4 type announcement and release again after the negative reception of Fallout 4 upon release. The general response when the game came out was that it felt unpolished and, to an extent, incomplete. Bethesda might avoid that situation again so that fans aren’t skeptical right

Microsoft needs to give me something new to be excited about. Sequels to long running Xbox franchises (Gears 6, Halo 7, Forza 8, etc) arent going to do it anymore. There were days when that could be the highlight of a press conference, maybe even the entire event, but I don’t see a Gears or Halo announcement setting

I was definitely a fan of the core trilogy but after the first 3 games I had my fill. I had no interest in Ascension and only played a tiny bit of the game because my roommate at the time rented it so I gave it a shot and it did nothing for me. My thought was, essentially, “I’ve basically played this game already.”

“Then they did it again. And again. And again.

...and it got stale.”

I Love the Dualshock 4. People complain about the placement of the sticks but I can transition between PS4 and Xbox and barely even acknowledge the placement difference. Size of the controllers have never been an issue either.

You missed the two best Xbox games: Ori and the Blind Forest (88) and Cuphead (86). Though I don’t disagree with your statement

Thanks for your input. Sounds like a game I’ll get a little later when it is on sale and I clear some of my backlog.

So basically the Terminator 3 of endings? Nothing you do matters because the future is already set.

“Ihaven’t played the game, and these endings are ensuring that I won’t”

Reading your comment makes me think of Far Cry 5 as a game that wants talk about and discuss real world issues like an adult but is stuck in a teenage, high school mindset. Perhaps it’s a bit of a problem with videogames in general wanting to appeal to both adults and teens. Its difficult for a game to be mature and

“and I still put forward that he needs to be right for the rest of his fucked-up life to have any meaning”

I mean they would almost have to if these games take place in the same world. Unless they decide to choose a particular time period which is a possibility.

“ I think at this point in my life I value subtext and plot more than shiny explosions and references I get.”

Gita: I just have literally no interest in watching a movie of mashing action figures together.

Wow what a foolish mistake on my part. I don’t know why I was thinking that “Groot” is all he said.

“Audiences will care about a villain if the filmmakers give them a reason”
