I now understand why Sherilyn Fenn was upset and ranting on Twitter during filming. Because with the exception of maybe Michael Horse, who's getting a bit more to do than he got in the original run, probably in large part because Michael Ontkean declined to return, the original non-Kyle cast is pretty much window

I actually find the show surprisingly coherent narratively to this point. It's not hard to figure out what's happening. Cooper's doppelganger has been on a 25 year rampage that was supposed to end, but he somehow cheated the logic that governs the Black Lodge. As a result, Cooper is reborn from a surrogate (Dougie).

The prints are as legit a clue as we've gotten to what's going on. Apparently Briggs corpses keep popping up that have the same DNA (which triggers hits when localities scan the databases), but are always slightly off. Preston also found what she believed to be a distinguishing factor between Cooper and his

It's kind of funny, Dougie's been around for three full episodes, but in the time lapsed in the show, it's been less than 24 hours from the start of Part 3 through the end of Part 5. It feels like it's been so much longer.

PEOPLE ARE GOING TO WAKE UP! RIGHT HERE IN TWIN PEAKS, IF YOU WALK INTO THE WOODS YOU SMELL SCORCHED ENGINE OIL! IS THAT NATURAL? NO, IT'S PART OF A GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACY BETWEEN THE FBI, THE CIA, AND THE GLOBALISTS TO EXPERIMENT WITH NECROMANCY! RAISING THE DEAD TO POSSESS THE LIVING SO THEY CAN RAPE YOUR BABIES! AND

If you were to attempt to put pieces together, there seems to be a definite connection between Briggs, DoppelCoop, the creation of doppelgangers, and the 16 previous corpses that have had Briggs' fingerprints.

I thought the guys in the black car were just low level criminals cruising around looking for cars to steal and had noticed the same car had been parked at that empty house for days

Jacoby is a visionary in the Infowar. Can't wait until he blows the lid off of everything.

The different time periods theory took a big hit tonight. Clearly it's all one linear world. Jade mailing the room key. The lady in Vegas who wanted Dougie killed triggering the thing that happened in Buenos Aires. Even the biggest piece of evidence — the license plate — was shown to be not informative. The '03' on

I do think every bit of this stringing out the incapacitation of Coop as Dougie is completely calculated. Lynch wants people to feel anxiety to the point of frustration that they have this idea of this guy and its sitting right in front of them, and yet they can't have it, and yet it would be so easy to just get it

I still can't quite get a feel for if this is going proceed like this for 18 episodes, and this really is an 18 hour 'this is what happened to Dale Cooper' story, or if this Doppelganger story is going to kind of rapidly just conclude, but push us into a second 'Twin Peaks/BOB/Murder' arc.

The payoff on the Jacoby storyline was tremendous. Funniest joke of the season.

The show does relatively good ratings for its night and slot. Trump has probably been a godsend to him.

Lesson learned

There was one point in time I was fan, like over a decade ago.

I think I hate stories like this because I dread all the left and right 'thinkpieces'

Short Answer: You could make the argument based on the numbers it's right, but you could make the argument based on historical trends people who vote Green aren't reliable Democratic votes anyway. They're their own small niche thing. Better argument is the people who stayed home because they didn't think it was

Racism shouldn't go unchallenged.

It's a stupid (and honestly kind of hacky) joke. People should call him out on it.

THERE THEY ARE, ALBERT — FACES OF STONE!
