I imagine it’s also because Sony is a Japanese company, and people are more familiar with it, so they’re more likely to lean towards Sony. Plus Sony tends to have more access to niche domestic titles/exclusives

This is so bizarre to me. Streaming games (regardless of the provider) isn’t any different than streaming via Netflix, other than requiring input from the player. Apple doesn’t bitch about Netflix over it, expecting them to list all their movies...

Yes, but the S is discless. It’s a locked down PC at that point. Unless you plan on only playing games from game pass or from the marketplace, its much more limited.
