Difference being, on xbox, you can buy games from a store, and utilize used copies as well.

There’s more to it than that. This is only on iOS. You can install anything you want on your macOS devices.

This is so bizarre to me. Streaming games (regardless of the provider) isn’t any different than streaming via Netflix, other than requiring input from the player. Apple doesn’t bitch about Netflix over it, expecting them to list all their movies...

I forgot the specifics, but I recall reading some instances where he has shown, that despite his constant word salads, he still has a level of intelligence/competence; and that at the end of the day, most of his shittiness is intentional.

Wouldn’t this waste running water in the shower?

Sony is a huge conglomerate of a hardware company, they have just as many connections.

Yes, but the S is discless. It’s a locked down PC at that point. Unless you plan on only playing games from game pass or from the marketplace, its much more limited.

Consoles have been selling like hotcakes because everyone is staying indoors significantly more. My local bestbuy and GS have been emptied of consoles last time I visited each place, just my anecdotal experience.

Since the hardware is custom, it’s hard to make a direct comparison to PC GPUs. From what Eurogamer found, the GPU is supposedly comparable to an RTX 2080

Not buying, I have a stack of Xbox games I want to be able to play, I also can’t justify $500 for a console, so I’ll wait until there’s a sale. Not like my Xbox has any issues anyway...

Ah, got it. Thanks

And that’s why I can’t get on board with the idea of “herd immunity” from letting people just catch it and recover.

Also patching. I recall when skullgirls came to consoles, they reported the cost of deploying a patch/update to the game was $150,000

Good observation. That actually makes sense, it’s quick injection of revenue, even if Nintendo is an old school kyoto based company, money is money. What I don’t get is, if they build out their marketplace  properly, that type of revenue would be available to them year round.

I think some of their business execs have figured out that:

They do offer an entry level phone, the iPhone SE. It’s a fraction of the cost of others, but it has the same current “gen” cpu and memory. So it’s good to last for up to 5 years. (If apples previous phones are anything to go by, they offer software updates for roughly 5 years before EOL).

Agreed, they’re actually kinda jank right now.

Honestly, if you are curious, play the free content, and call it a day, may as well enjoy whats available now, while you still can. And if you don’t want to, thats ok too, there’s plenty other games to enjoy

Given that we have 4 main characters instead of 1, I wouldnt be surprised if you are correct
