nah, seasons are more than just the DLC. There’s stuff to do that everyone can partake in, and stuff for paid players. Paid content is like strikes and raids. free content is stuff in the public zones, new pvp maps, seasonal events like festival of the lost

I mean, forsaken had a great fun campaign mode, if you didnt end up finishing it, shadowkeep may not be worth it. In that case, you can enjoy the free content for the season with no cost to you.
