I was curious about what kind of game they'd give to strife... I noticed one thing with darksiders series, they'd make each one slightly different. First one felt like God of war x LoZ. 2nd one felt like an action rpg, haven't played the 3rd one yet.

Sometimes you have to take features out in order to adequately implement new features. The amount of polish in BotW more than makes up for not having dungeons. It’s just a shame the temples were repetitive

Agreed, my only problem with them was that I feel like there should be fewer tests of strength. They got repetitive fast

I imagine the reason for not having any dungeons was that nintendo wanted to trying something different for LoZ, and didn’t want to get bogged down by previous ideas before bringing what they did to a level of design acceptable to them.
