No, it wasn’t, you’re right, but it was meant to be based on the idea of taking capitalism “too far” so to speak

We’ve had alternatives if publishers and devs are willing to use them. GoG is one you mentioned, Origin, Uplay, Gamestop, Amazon, Windows store, green man gaming.... There is no shortage of options for PC Gamers. Physical media is dead for PC Gaming, except for collectibles, a lot of pc gamers dont even cd drives…
probably the same place where most other stores tend to draw the line? This is a private company, they can do w/e they want and take steps as needed to improve the process/experience, or shit it down the drain.
Even Andrew Ryan found out one day that free and unbridled capitalism didn’t pay the bills and made things inconvenient
Why waste resources moderating when you would make money even if you didn’t? Valve doesn’t give a shit because, they don’t have to give a shit.
Remember, when your kid gets bigger, they can beat you too.
What kind of “parent” blindly leaves credit info entered like this, it’s so easy to abuse. Lootboxes need to die already, this is completely ridiculous.
It still reminded me of the “press x to pay respects” moment. I get that they wanted that scene to be impactful, but it fell flat on some people
Out of all the things you fight, that troll was the only thing you go out of your way to kill, and he wouldn’t do it if he didnt have it
I’m mildly confused only because I recall seeing them destroyed at the end of GoW 3. Gonna guess that scene was slightly retconned
Ah whoops, $1,700,000
I feel like they might have wanted to give Kratos Mjolnir, but that probably would have a lot of problems and conflicts in the story, so they created a brand new weapon with its own (and very cool I might add) backstory, and give it a familiar ability.
Its definitely clever, and hindsight is 20/20, but somehow I feel like this is intentional, like the concept of the infinity gauntlet is possibly inspired by norse mythos. I haven’t looked too deeply into it to confirm though.
This is ridiculous, and a rip off. And fans will buy it up because megaman. Easiest 8.5 million capcom has made
You aren’t the target audience for these lists. These lists are for average/families that usually only have one console for gaming. Systems and PC gaming may be more accessible, but a lot of gamers tend to only have one console/resource for gaming.
You have a valid point in that regard. The problem is that, form factor isn’t the only thing that makes a laptop a laptop, functionality is another, and as it stands, a $600 chrome tablet (its in the name after all) lacks a lot of the functionality and versatility of a $600 traditional laptop, windows or otherwise (ie…
There’s no way I could justify $600 for those specs (aside from the screen), though having that stylus is a nice option. I’d rather settle for a lesser chromebook.
And, to my knowledge, nothing is stopping California from implementing some of the additional gun control measures that are regularly being pushed as well.
Californian here: Starbucks has the acrylamide warning up at each location, usually near the self-serve creamer table. I read it once, looked up what acrylamide is on my own (wikipedia was a good enough source for me on this topic), then continued to drink my coffee because I probably consume larger more statistically…
One thing to keep in mind regarding coffee if you are still concerned over this issue, is also that due to the brewing process, a cup of coffee is still like +95% water... probably closer to 99%
