That anecdote about lsd sums up my experience with amway. I expected to get information, there wasn’t any, just speakers talking nonsense and people cheering over it even though there was no substance to their “speeches”

I wonder how many people would drink juice if they realized the equivalent number of fruits they would have to eat to get that juice
Regardless of the fact that the police poorly handled the situation. It wasn’t much a project. He dismantled a regular alarm clock from its casing and out it in the pencil case and because all the circuits are exposed, it looks more fancy/technical than it really is.
That’s a good point. It’s possible, given the fact that they’ve extracted whatever data is in them and used that same data (code or what have you) to create the piraye amiibo market. Gotta look at said data to confirm.
Is that so? That’s interesting, didn’t know that
I unlocked Epona, but I never use her because if you are too far, you can’t call her and it’s inconvenient
Umm, it is freely available, that’s how they’re doing it. But, it’s copyrighted,so your sources are likely as easy to find as a rom site.
Hmm, this setup would be cool for gifting stuff to friends. I might have some fun with this.
Because they wanted to add a unique depth to the experience. Sony and MS don’t offer anything similar. And it’s an easy and fun thing to collect your favorite figurines. I can honestly say most of mine i haven’t even used for a game. The items they restrict are minor at best.
If Nintendo programmed the code, they do own copyright on the code. Using their code for your own gain (monetary or otherwise) does technically count as copyright infringement.
Not really surprised at the situation. Piracy is generally the result of market failure. And Nintendo is known for fiercely protecting their copyright, they function like Apple when it comes to their products and marketing.
Gamers tend to be horribly entitled. I wouldnt be surprised if the real reason people raged over paid mods when steam tested that disaster out was because something that was free suddenly costed them money.
Well, everyone complaining is more than free to make their own piracy-check free mod for nier... No one is stopping them or forcing them to use it.
I am straight up excited for this. I loved the hell out of DS1 and DS2, I always felt each brought a different flavor to the franchise and story. (DS1 was God of War x LoZ, DS2 was LoZ x Action RPG). I am not sure what to expect for DS3, I do hope though that they do something different with it as well (I originally…
More compact, and has a huge library of good games to play, its also got a significantly attractive price point compared to the switch.
Ugh, I really wish Nintendo made it less difficult to get complete editions...
Thing is, free markets do work when there is equal opportunity. Look at the smartphone industry, look at most consumer products.
When DSL was the norm, there was a good amount of competition (I had maybe 3-4 options in my area). Once broadband took off and ever since then, I’ve only had Comcast, no other cable company — no other company — has ever offered broadband in my area.
Probably no different than the shelf life of an athlete
Much as I would probably side with his parents for this case, if he is actually making it somewhere playing pro, he is still finishing out high school. Meaning once he gets bored, or wants to, he can actually go to college, and perhaps be able to afford it with the esports money.
