Honestly as far as pricing at least, what I’m waiting for is a resumption of the tariff exception for GPUs et al. Ending it was one of Trump’s last attacks on the country before exiting office, and it should’ve been restored by now (really, the whole trade war was rank nonsense that worse than failed to work, but

These do look decent, and I’m probably in the minority here, but I wish they would make a decent, wireless, one sided/eared headset, as I dont like to be “closed off” from the world around me when playing and none of these headset’s artificial atmos/surround sound can match a real system

Epic giving the publishers more of your money allows for better games to exist. We know this because the developer of one of the biggest indie hits of 2020 has literally said they’re game would have been worse without the Epic exclusivity deal.

You have a very narrow view of the games marketplace. First off all platforms competing for software has literally always existed in the games industry. And have you ever considered that the reason some of the smaller publishers and developers take the Epic exclusivity deals is it gives them the necessary cash flow

Epic continues to do the thing that platforms have been doing since literally forever. More at 11.

Inferior product? Dude, get over yourself. You seem unreasonably angry at a corporation, which is fine, we all have our causes, but there are bigger and better fights to pick.

Your responses read like you have a horse in this race. In which case I feel bad for you.

I think people tend to overemphasize launcher features.  For myself and so many other PC gamers, a launcher is just what vickwildcatshelter said: Another icon on our desktop. With Steam, GoG, Origin, Battle.net, and Epic, I use all of them to launch whatever game I want to play, and that’s it.  Personally I wish

Not a PC gamer but I love how angry they get about having a second icon on their desktop. Makes the console wars seem like a kindergarten fight.

I don’t understand how or why this is an issue. You own a PC. Download both Steam and Epic and just get the games you want when they’re available. There’s no hardware investment so it’s nothing like a console exclusive.

I mean the two aren’t mutually exclusive i’m sure.

Gamers: Games are art!

Others treat it like art by becoming emotional or critiquing it fairly: NO NOT LIKE THAT!!!

I’m not going to be the one who says “Oh, he can’t trust himself, blah blah blah”, but I will be the one to say “Grow the fuck up.”

Mmmmm, Reese’s Flonase.

All I have are very negative feelings for the Republicans that supported the narcissist President and enabled his actions to culminate in what we’re seeing today.
